A timeline of significant things I remember (more added as I remember them):
1976: Paul is born
1979: born, grandma Elaine passes away
1981: brother born
1982: learned to read
1983-1986: reoccurring nightmares of “the little green airplane” & the “white choo-choo” that were fucking terrifying
1985: got Pokey the Basset Hound, broke radius & ulna in right arm, broke humerus in right arm (unrelated, but while in the cast for the first breaks
1986: Expo ’86, Man In Motion, Challenger explosion, receive first issue of National Geographic, grandma Billie passes away
1987: moved schools, developed stress-induced allergies & chemical sensitivities and an ulcer
1988: watched the torch for the Calgary Olympics go by in the snow
1989: moved schools
1990: joined first basketball team, ripped tendons & ligaments in my right ankle/foot on a skateboard
1991: moved, stayed in same school, joined first field hockey team
1992: started high school,got Zak the Cairn Terrier
1993: broke radius & growth plate in my eland bow & chipped the ulna in my right arm
1994: diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
1996: injured cartilage & ligaments in left knee
1997: Pokey passed away, got Digger the Scottish Terrier, parents divorce, diagnosed with clinical depression, graduated high school
1998: move out on my own, first ride on a motorcycle (GSX-R 400…a sweet ride!)
1999: re-tear the tendons & ligaments in my right ankle/foot
2000: visited Whistler for the first time
2001: met Paul, moved in with him 10 months later
2002: diagnosed with Fibromyalgia
2003: diagnosed with Dysthymia
2004: started working at a veterinary clinic
2005: stayed up all night with a 3-day old puppy
2006: got Maggie the Treeing Walker Coonhound, bought first house with Paul & got Bender the Labrador Retriever
2007: married Paul in Hawai’i
2008: bought our first brand-new car (Honda Fit)
2009: got motorcycle license & motorcycle (Ninja 250), first nephew born
2010: diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder, second nephew born, first niece born, epic road trip to California for a track day at Laguna Seca
2011: road trip to Utah for World Superbike: met Noriyuki Haga! Yamaha Champions Riding School, sold Ninja & got FZ6R, second niece born, started new job in IT-administration, track day at Streets of Willow Springs
2012: learned how to dirt track, started the process to get my motorcycle instructor license, had my first (very minor!) car accident.
