Not all of these things can be completed in a year, so I’ve decided to just make them goals rather than sticking an arbitrary due date on them.
- Learn how to corner better on the bike
- Change my motorcycle’s oil by myself
- Ride a local track day (Pitt Meadows)
- Attend Pacific Advanced Riding School (ARS)
- Attend a track/racing school (this one isn’t going to happen for awhile)
- Ride Paul’s bike to work one day
- Get the mirrors fixed on the Ninja (thanks to Ted at Essential Motorcycle Services!)
- Take a road trip on the bikes.
- See a MotoGP race (bonus points if Rossi wins!)
- See a World Superbike race (bonus points if Haga wins!)
- Find real enjoyment & satisfaction from my job (or find a job that offers this) (found a new job that will offer this, starting May 7th)
- Start working towards CVPM certification (step 1 is enrolling in business management courses)
- Sit down with my boss and find out what his expectations of me are or find out there are none and quit, ha!
- Meet with a financial planner to discuss insurance
- Meet with a financial planner to discuss retirement saving
- Complete the couch to 5k running program
- Do one hundred push ups
- Do two hundred sit ups
- Do two hundred squats
- Eat healthier on a regular basis
- Eat one vegetarian meal a week for a month
- Deal with health issues I’ve been ignoring
- Be more confident in my abilities to make a good decision
- Set boundaries with people before they overstep them
- Not feel sorry for saying “no” more often
- Say what I mean, mean what I say
- Get my Celtic star tattoo fixed
- Get at least one more tattoo
- Babysit Traviss
- Get a make-up makeover
- Get a (spa!) facial
- Get a hot rock massage
- Grow my hair out!
- Write more, write regularly
- Complete The Artist’s Way
- Complete NaNoWriMo
- Write a letter to distant relatives
- Send Christmas cards with a “family portrait”
- Send a Christmas letter with the cards
- Donate to charity (I like Wounded Warriors)
- Attend chats/lectures by my temple on a regular basis
- Spend time in my shrine regularly
- Get to know people from my temple better
- Paint the inside of the house
- Fix the front of the house
- Fix the backyard
- Build a shed or a garage for the motorcycles
- Take books out of the library instead of buying them
- Re-build my MP3 collection
- Actually finish a video game
