Not all of these things can be completed in a year, so I’ve decided to just make them goals rather than sticking an arbitrary due date on them.

  1. Learn how to corner better on the bike
  2. Change my motorcycle’s oil by myself
  3. Ride a local track day (Pitt Meadows)
  4. Attend Pacific Advanced Riding School (ARS)
  5. Attend a track/racing school (this one isn’t going to happen for awhile)
  6. Ride Paul’s bike to work one day
  7. Get the mirrors fixed on the Ninja (thanks to Ted at Essential Motorcycle Services!)
  8. Take a road trip on the bikes.
  9. See a MotoGP race (bonus points if Rossi wins!)
  10. See a World Superbike race (bonus points if Haga wins!)
  11. Find real enjoyment & satisfaction from my job (or find a job that offers this) (found a new job that will offer this, starting May 7th)
  12. Start working towards CVPM certification (step 1 is enrolling in business management courses)
  13. Sit down with my boss and find out what his expectations of me are or find out there are none and quit, ha!
  14. Meet with a financial planner to discuss insurance
  15. Meet with a financial planner to discuss retirement saving
  16. Complete the couch to 5k running program
  17. Do one hundred push ups
  18. Do two hundred sit ups
  19. Do two hundred squats
  20. Eat healthier on a regular basis
  21. Eat one vegetarian meal a week for a month
  22. Deal with health issues I’ve been ignoring
  23. Be more confident in my abilities to make a good decision
  24. Set boundaries with people before they overstep them
  25. Not feel sorry for saying “no” more often
  26. Say what I mean, mean what I say
  27. Get my Celtic star tattoo fixed
  28. Get at least one more tattoo
  29. Babysit Traviss
  30. Get a make-up makeover
  31. Get a (spa!) facial
  32. Get a hot rock massage
  33. Grow my hair out!
  34. Write more, write regularly
  35. Complete The Artist’s Way
  36. Complete NaNoWriMo
  37. Write a letter to distant relatives
  38. Send Christmas cards with a “family portrait”
  39. Send a Christmas letter with the cards
  40. Donate to charity (I like Wounded Warriors)
  41. Attend chats/lectures by my temple on a regular basis
  42. Spend time in my shrine regularly
  43. Get to know people from my temple better
  44. Paint the inside of the house
  45. Fix the front of the house
  46. Fix the backyard
  47. Build a shed or a garage for the motorcycles
  48. Take books out of the library instead of buying them
  49. Re-build my MP3 collection
  50. Actually finish a video game
