Why is this site called “a cute toaster”?
When Paul and I were a new couple he noticed that when I sleep I like to bury myself in blankets and I get really warm. His comment about it was “you’re a toaster, but you’re a cute toaster!” and it stuck. He still quite often refers to me as toast or toaster.
Why “falling over randomly since 1979″?
Because I do fall over randomly, and I’ve done it since 1979.
Why “crowned with laurel, bright light, from the hedged field?
It’s the meanings of my first, middle, and maiden names. My married last name is believe to mean “man from Gene” which is near Vreren in Limburg, Belgium.
